To pin a message in WhatsApp, simply long-press on the conversation containing the desired message and select the “Pin” option from the menu that appears. You can pin any type of message, including text messages, files, emojis, pictures, polls, or videos. However, it is important to note that you can only pin one chat at a time.

You can select between 24 hours, seven days, or one month, with seven days being the default duration. This allows you to customize the pinning duration based on your specific needs. Should you wish to unpin a message, you can easily do so at any time.

In group chats, the ability to pin messages can be managed by the admins. Admins have the option to restrict pinning capabilities to themselves or allow other participants to pin messages as well. This feature empowers admins to control the organization and accessibility of important information within the group.
