One important aspect to evaluate is their performance in detecting sarcasm, as understanding sarcasm is essential in sentiment analysis. In a recent study, researcher Juliann Zhou from New York University aimed to assess the performance of two LLMs trained to detect human sarcasm and explore ways to improve their capabilities.
The Importance of Sarcasm Detection

The goal was to evaluate the ability of CASCADE and RCNN-RoBERTa to detect sarcasm in these comments.
