The tech world is on edge with the recent escalation of tensions between two of its most prominent figures: Elon Musk and Sam Altman. Once comrades-in-arms who co-founded OpenAI, an organization dedicated to developing safe and beneficial artificial intelligence, the two visionaries are now embroiled in a bitter feud that could have profound repercussions for the future of technology.
The roots of the conflict date back to the creation of OpenAI in 2015. Musk, driven by his concerns about the potential dangers of AI, joined forces with Altman, co-founder of Y Combinator, to create an organization that would tackle this challenge responsibly. However, from the outset, there were differences in their visions for OpenAI’s future.

The result will determine whether AI will be developed openly and responsibly, as Musk initially advocated, or whether it will become a powerful tool in the hands of a few, with unpredictable consequences for humanity.
