Against The Storm is expanding its horizons with the upcoming release of the Keepers Of The Stone expansion on September 26th. This new expansion will introduce the frog people to the game, allowing players to immerse themselves in a whole new biome – the Coastal Groves. Set along the water, players will have the opportunity to build settlements and explore the new surroundings.

One of the exciting additions in Keepers Of The Stone is the introduction of Strider Ports, which will enable players to embark on water-based expeditions riding on the backs of water striders. Additionally, new buildings such as the Pantry, Cannery, and the Frog House will be available for construction. The Frog House, in particular, offers a unique living space for the frog people and can be upgraded multiple times to enhance the happiness of the inhabitants.

In addition to the new expansion, Against The Storm will also receive update 1.4 on the same day. This update will bring a new fishing system, along with new requirements, goods, and various other changes to the game – all for free. However, to access the frog people, the new biome, and other content featured in Keepers Of The Stone, players will need to purchase the DLC. As of now, the pricing details have not been disclosed on the Steam page.

Although I haven’t had the chance to revisit Against The Storm since its initial release, I have heard nothing but praise for the game’s development. With Eremite Games at the helm, I have faith that the Keepers Of The Stone expansion will bring new and exciting gameplay elements to the table. The addition of frog people and the Coastal Groves biome is sure to inject fresh life into the game, providing players with a whole new world to explore and conquer.
