EcoFlow has recently launched its new Delta Pro 3 portable solar generator, offering a versatile power solution for various needs. This upgraded version promises more storage capacity, powerful inputs and outputs, reduced noise levels, and improved maneuverability, making it an attractive option for both home backup and outdoor activities.
The Delta Pro 3 is equipped with the capability to power an entire home during a blackout, an RV or van’s electrical system, or outdoor events such as beach parties. With increased storage capacity, it can scale from 4kWh to 12kWh by stacking two 4kWh expansion batteries. This allows it to power both 120V and 240V appliances with up to 4000W of output (8000W peak), making it suitable for a wide range of devices including induction ovens, cooling and heating systems, well pumps, and refrigerators. Moreover, multiple Delta Pro 3 units can be linked together for enhanced power and capacity, providing up to 12kW of output and 48kWh of storage.
The Delta Pro 3 offers several charging methods, including solar inputs ranging from 1000W to 1600W, AC wall chargers at 1800W (120V) or 3000W (240V), Level 2 EV chargers at 4000W, and EcoFlow’s Dual Fuel Generator. It can also be charged in vehicles like vans, pickups, or RVs using EcoFlow’s Alternator Charger or a 12V cigarette socket. Additionally, it supports multi-charging by combining inputs for up to 7000W of fast charging, ensuring quick and efficient recharging.
Apart from home backup use, the Delta Pro 3 is also suitable for powering RVs and vans. Its TT-30R outlet provides 120V / 30A for the vehicle’s electrical system, while the 12V / 30A Anderson port powers low-voltage DC devices. This versatility makes it a convenient all-in-one solution for travel and outdoor adventures, eliminating the need for complex van build-outs. Moreover, the generator operates quietly at less than 30dB, ensuring a peaceful environment in small living spaces.
The Delta Pro 3 is priced at $3,699 per unit, with a limited-time discount to $3,199 until July 23rd. Combining a DP3 with an expansion battery increases the price to $6,298 (discounted to $5,498 until July 23rd). The product will be available in Europe and the UK from September onwards, expanding its reach to a wider audience.
