Telegram, the popular instant messaging platform, recently announced a series of new features aimed at improving the overall user experience. One of the significant additions is the introduction of a new in-app browser with support for multiple tabs. This feature allows users to seamlessly switch between different tabs without losing their progress on any webpage. Additionally, the new browser also supports decentralised websites hosted on the Telegram Open Network (TON) on both mobile and desktop platforms.

In addition to the in-app browser, Telegram has introduced an Apps tab in the search function, allowing users to explore and browse through the various mini apps available on the platform. This feature gives users the ability to discover new and popular mini apps, as well as view previews with video demos and screenshots uploaded by developers. Moreover, content generated through mini apps, such as leaderboard snapshots or AI-generated videos, can now be shared as a Telegram Story directly from the mini app.

Gift Telegram Stars

Telegram Stars, initially designed for purchasing content in mini apps or paid channel content, can now be gifted to friends or family members. This new option provides users with the flexibility to share their rewards with their loved ones and enhance their overall messaging experience. Furthermore, users can now brighten up their video stories recorded with the front camera by using the front flash feature, which has been newly introduced in the latest update for both iOS and Android smartphones.

New Features for Multimedia Content

Apart from the in-app browser and mini apps tab, Telegram has also introduced the ability to select a cover image for video stories. This feature enables users to choose the image they want to represent their video story and enhance the visual appeal of their content. Additionally, stories now come with a new animated weather widget, adding a touch of creativity and interactivity to the user experience.

Not limited to the mobile platform, the new in-app browser and mini apps tab features have also been extended to macOS as part of the July update. This expansion allows desktop users to enjoy the same enhanced browsing capabilities and access to mini apps, further enriching their Telegram experience.

Telegram’s latest update brings a host of new features and improvements aimed at enhancing user experience and providing more versatility in terms of content creation and interaction. With the introduction of the new in-app browser, mini apps tab, and additional multimedia features, users can now enjoy a more engaging and dynamic messaging experience on the platform. Whether it’s browsing through mini apps, sharing content as Telegram Stories, or customizing video story covers, the latest update offers a range of exciting possibilities for users to explore and enjoy.
