Rimac, known for their groundbreaking electric vehicles, has unveiled the Nevera R, a new and improved version of the already impressive Nevera EV. The Nevera R promises even more power, speed, and performance than its predecessor, setting a new standard for electric supercars.
The Nevera R boasts an incredible acceleration time, going from 0 to 60mph in just 1.74 seconds. With a staggering 2,107 horsepower under the hood, the Nevera R outperforms its predecessor by an additional 200 horsepower. This increase in power allows for a top speed of 256mph, making it one of the fastest electric vehicles on the market.
In addition to its impressive speed, the Nevera R features improved aerodynamics, increased downforce, and enhanced grip. These enhancements not only contribute to the car’s quick acceleration but also improve its handling and overall performance. Despite its remarkable performance, the Nevera R does come with some limitations. The car requires “manufacturer oversight” to unlock its top speed of 256mph, otherwise, it is limited to 217mph. Additionally, the 108kWh battery is expected to provide around 250 miles of range under the European WLTP cycle, although this has yet to be officially certified.
