Jabra has recently announced the release of the upgraded versions of their Elite 10 and Elite 8 Active earbuds, now known as “Gen 2.” These new earbuds come with improvements to sound quality, noise cancellation, and other essential features. The highlight of these new models appears to be the LE Audio charging case that comes with both earbuds, offering a unique and innovative feature.
The LE Audio charging case included with the Jabra Elite 10 and 8 Gen 2 earbuds allows users to plug the case into an external device, such as a treadmill or in-flight video screen, and transmit audio over to the buds. This feature sets the Jabra earbuds apart from competitors, as they utilize the still-new LC3 Bluetooth codec to reduce latency significantly. The Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2 earbuds are priced at $279, while the Elite 8 Gen 2 earbuds are priced slightly lower at $229. Both models are set to be available in mid-June in various colors.
