Razer has recently launched the Kishi Ultra, a mobile gaming controller that promises to revolutionize the gaming experience on various devices. This controller boasts versatility and compatibility with a wide range of devices, making it a must-have accessory for gamers on the go.
One of the standout features of the Kishi Ultra is its ability to switch seamlessly between multiple devices. With a built-in USB-C port, the controller is compatible with the latest smartphones, including the iPhone 15 series and most Android devices. Additionally, it can be used with foldable phones like the Galaxy Z Fold 5, as well as expand to fit iPad Mini and 8-inch Android tablets.
The Kishi Ultra introduces Razer’s Sensa HD immersive haptics technology, which promises to enhance the gaming experience by converting audio into haptic feedback. This feature, previously seen in Razer’s Project Esther concept gaming chair, is now available to the general public for the first time. However, it is important to note that the Sensa haptics currently only support Android 12 or above and Windows 11, excluding iOS users from this experience.
In addition to the innovative haptic technology, the Kishi Ultra also features Chroma RGB lights below the joysticks, adding a touch of visual flair to the controller. To fully utilize the controller’s capabilities, users will need to download the Razer Nexus app, available for both iOS and Android. This app allows for seamless integration with popular gaming platforms like Apple Arcade, Xbox Game Pass, and the Google Play Store.
Alongside the Kishi Ultra, Razer also unveiled an updated version of its Kishi V2 controller with a USB-C port for iPhone 15 and Android devices. Both the Kishi Ultra and Kishi V2 are now available for purchase online and in stores, priced at $150 and $99 respectively. These controllers offer a wide range of features and compatibility options, making them a compelling choice for gamers looking to enhance their mobile gaming experience.
